MIAMI – Inter Miami CF announced today it will return to Major League Soccer (MLS) action this week with a new partner in Wendy’s®. Wendy’s will be an integral part of the fan journey this season standing side-by-side with fans throughout various touch points on matchday and in the community.
“This is a great partnership for our fans to enjoy together,” said Xavier Asensi, CBO of Inter Miami CF. “We are thankful for partners like Wendy’s that enhance the fan experience and provide our fans with some of their favorite menu options in our stadium.”
Fans can begin their matchday journey with a new ritual of enjoying a free, small Frosty® at participating Wendy’s South Florida area locations with any purchase for the remainder of the 2021 season*. Later this summer, upon arriving at DRV PNK Stadium, fans can swing by the Wendy’s Plaza at Gate 1, which will feature co-branded murals and a concession stand featuring fan-favorite Wendy’s products.
In addition, Wendy’s will enhance the overall experience by supporting theme nights at DRV PNK Stadium, starting as the presenting sponsor of Fútbol Salutes, Inter Miami’s new military appreciation night taking place on Sunday, July 25.
Wendy’s will continue to support Inter Miami on the digital and global scale by being the title sponsor of three upcoming ‘eFriendlies’ this season, which are match-ups between first team players and other clubs around the globe in games of FIFA online. Wendy’s will also be the title sponsor of “Copa La Familia,” an annual event for which Inter Miami will announce details around the launch of EA Sports FIFA 22, giving fans opportunities to enjoy the game with Inter Miami players.
